Chamber’s Sunset Mixer Sponsors State Chamber Rep
The Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce invites its members to our first post-summer Business @ Sunset Mixer!
This promises to be a great way to wind down after summer. We’ll also mix in a little business, with a presentation from Donna Steward of the Washington State Chamber of Commerce about small business issues, including:
- The impact of federal health care legislation;
- Workers compensation;
- Unemployment insurance; and
- State budget forecasts
Social hour begins at 5:30 pm – with a discounted cash bar. We’ll wrap up by 7:30 pm. Donna’s presentation (with Q&A) will run from 6 pm – 7 pm. A suggested donation of $5 is requested to offset room costs – and is greatly appreciated
