— from Tony Lee —
Every year, for 17 years, the Irish, those who wish they were Irish, and those who are grateful they are not Irish have paraded through the streets of Eastsound to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
A rather unscripted event, under the radar, it continues this year as the leprechauns gather in the Island Market parking lot at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Mar. 17 to wander the streets in an annual procession that ends with the sharing of a brew in a local pub.
