From www.skagitradio.com

Orcas Island’s Alison O’Toole took a lead pass, dribbled 15 yards and kicked a 10-yarder into the left side of La Conner’s in the 5th minute of the semifinal match between the two Northwest 2B League rivals, being played at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner, the site of this 1B/2B WIAA girls’ soccer state tournament.

La Conner’s offensive attack has managed more shots-on-goal (7) to Orcas Island’s pressure (2).

The Brave’s goalie, Kelly Gilkey, made a two-handed save smack between the sideposts to keep the score 1-0 at the 29th minute. It was only the Vikings’ second shot-on-goal.
