Orcas Rec gives kids choices this week

On Monday, June 22, several day camps and sports clinics offered through Orcas Island Recreation Program will begin. There is still room to register for any of the following programs:

Day Camp for Children Ages 3-6  runs at Salmonberry School this week from 9:30 a.m. to  12:30 p.m. Activities include games, stories, puzzles, music, art projects, and lots more.

A  Youth Golf Clinic at Orcas Golf Club (open to all ages).  High school golf coach Bobby Olmsted will teach golf skills for children ages 10-up at Youth Golf Clinic at Orcas Golf Club, Mondays and Wednesday mornings for three weeks, from  June 22 – July 8 from 10 to 11 a.m.   The cost is $55.

Multi-Sports Camp.  The largest provider of youth sports programs in the country is coming to Orcas Island. The Skyhawks Multi-Sports Camp provides opportunities for participants to gain experience in several sports including soccer, baseball, and basketball. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 26.The cost is $133.
